We contacted 80 exporters in May and asked them how they produce their export documents.

46% were shipping over 50 export shipments each month
40% said they get some of their export documents from their business system
77% said they use manual processes such as Word and Excel for at least some of their export documents
96% didn't know they could send data from their business system to services such as e-Cert to avoid re-keying data
